put in water Dal (pulses) and red beans over night and boil with water and salt, till the Dal (pulses) becom soft. cut the onions, Ginger (Adrak), Geen Chilies in urdu (Hari Mirch) and .tomatoes. Fry all in butter or ghee till golden-brown. Then mix the boiled Dal (pulses) and red beans and leave simmering for 5 – 7 minutes.
